A former professional player in MLS with leadership experience in football operations, Jim brings a rare combination of sporting insight and business expertise. He works with investors, clubs, architects, and municipalities to structure projects strategically and execute them with clarity and transparency.
At Playmaker Global, Jim leads international structuring, feasibility analysis, and cross-border advisory for multi-million-dollar football and leisure developments. His background is anchored by his work at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, where he coached with the IMG U16 Youth Development Academy and the U17 Youth U.S. National Team. He also coached professionally with USL in Jacksonville, Florida, and played for the Long Island Rough Riders’ 1995 National Championship team alongside Gio Savarese, Cris Armas, and Tony Meola.
Ian Bishop is a senior football consultant with more than three decades of experience across the English Premier League, MLS and international football development. Known for his deep tactical understanding and global network, Ian advises clubs, investors, and municipalities on football operations, academy design, player pathways, and long-term player strategy.
His career includes over 700 professional appearances for clubs such as Manchester City, West Ham United, and Miami Fusion, giving him a rare, ground-level perspective on how elite football environments are built and sustained.
